Sparti Girl
Photo #1Curly/TB cross mare, 8 yr, 15.3 hh. After a career as a successful brood mare, Sparti was started under saddle in 2009. Has been ridden lightly over the last year, and has proven to have a level-headed temperament and great potential as a sport horse. Has a wonderful uphill canter and a super jump. Ditches, water, banks, no problem. Sparti's unflappable temperament has seen her to blue ribbons in several local schooling shows, and she is also participating in Pony Club. While still green, with more training she will be an excellent kid's horse and a very competitive event horse. Sparti's sire is Spartacus, the all time top sire of sport curly horses, with two offspring at FEI level dressage. Sparti's dam Vintry is a winning Thoroughbred race mare. Sparti has good bone, great feet, and a willing mind. No vices. Sparti is curly coated and hypo-allergenic. Photo is from July 2010; rider is a 5'8" teenagerl. Price negotiable to perfect home. $8500

Dallas
Photo #1 | Photo #2Bay Thoroughbred gelding, 8 yr, 15.1 hh. He is an extremely talented horse who would do well an eventer or as a jumper. He is a BLAST to jump and has schooled 2'9'' with ease, with scope to go higher. He has a great personality, and is very calm at home and at shows. He has been my pony club horse for two years, and has taken me to my D-3 so far. He is super calm on trails, does water and ditches without a problem. Has schooled some cross country. He gets good scores in dressage as well, and is showing T3 and T4. He would do best in a jumping home with a confident junior or a small adult. A good home is more important than price. I have sadly grown to tall for him. Never raced. See these videos: Jump Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu8LY3eQiTE Flat Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mmelMbBJ84 $7500

Cooper Pedy for lease
Cooper Pedy, 6 yrs, 15.3 hh liver chestnut TB gelding. Came off the track last October, and he is smaller than I would like. He is still green re: training but has been a good horse. Comes to me in the pasture, very friendly, not at all mean. He is still improving his ground manners. He ties, clips, bathes, loads, etc. He has been GREAT on the trail for such a green horse and I think he could make a good C level Pony Club horse. I would like to lease him out with option to buy. I will pay for annual dental work, vaccines, worming. You pay for daily care and shoeing. I could help trailer him about when available. He is in Santa Rosa. I entered pony club with a green horse and learned a lot! $neg

Doctor Do Good
Photo #1 | Photo #2Doc, dark bay, Irish Sport Horse gelding, 12 yr, 17 hh, is truly a gem. Quiet enough for a child to ride, yet does not require a whip or spurs to get going. Very safe form over fences, easy jump to stay with. He has three quality gaits, and his canter is so smooth that you can enjoy your afternoon tea without spilling a drop. Flying changes are automatic and he is easy to put in a soft, round frame. Has had considerable training and show experience (shown in hunters at Almaden, Pebble Beach, Watsonville and Woodside, evented Beginner Novice at Ram Tap and Moorpark). He knows the movements through Third Level dressage and is simple to ride. He passed a basic soundness exam in April, and has had all spring vaccinations and a routine dental. No vices or issues, this gentle giant has excellent manners and is easy to love. Doc’s video is available on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywkgki3HzwQ $20,000

Avalon, for lease
Dark bay thoroughbred mare, 12 yr, for lease. She has competed up to Training level in three-day eventing. She has excellent ground manors and is well trained under saddle. She needs a confident, quiet rider who rides with a steady leg and a gentle hand. She is suitable for a C level Pony Club rider. Avalon clips, ties, bathes, and trailers well. Avalon currently lives in Petaluma at Sonoma Coastal EquesTraining Center. The trainer at this facility is Nathalie Guion, who coaches Marin County's Redwood Pony Club. It would be preferred if Avalon stays at her current facility, but I am willing to negotiate her moving to a different barn with the right person. I would allow Avalon to be trailered from her current barn to Pony Club lessons or rallies, along with shows. I am negotiable with all aspects of the lease. I am looking for the right match for Avalon. $For Lease
